- On Sept 9, 2009, Terry and I set a Life Plan goal of visiting all 59 of our country's major National Parks. In 2018 and 2019 respectively, Congress added two new major National Parks bringing the total to 61. Not long after, Congress added another 2 bringing the total number of majors to 63! With our most recent visit to New River Gorge National Park in July of 2021, we've succeeded in trekking to all of America's Best Ideas!
